Met with the Ukrainian Ambassador to Canada today to try to advance the possibilities of ongoing cooperation between our two countries today. It was my first encounter with the new ambassador and I was very impressed with his knowledge and performance. I reallythink that we will be able to create a win-win situation for Canadian employers in sectors with skills shortages and for underemployed Eastern-European workers.
I also met with the good folks at Cactus my internet solutions provider. Hopefully our whole site will go live before Christmas...exciting.
And, lastly, I met with my colleagues at the Paerson Peacekeeping Centre who are putting on an excellent model peacekeeping mission at the Canadian War Museum in March of next year.
